Cash for Camp

Did you know the South Portland Music Boosters will help send your student to summer music camp?

If you help us fundraise for the South Portland Music Program, you can earn half of the cost of summer music camp (up to $200)!

Here's how it works:
  • Join our parent volunteer email list by contacting John Perry.
  • Volunteer at the South Portland Bingo Hall three Saturday nights between May 2016 and April 2017. Any family member over the age of 18 can volunteer. It is a fun and easy evening. You will volunteer with three other Music Booster parents. We will train you and feed you! John Perry sends out volunteer requests so you will know when we need volunteers.
  • Register your child for the summer music camp of your choice.
  • Return the Cash for Camp forum to your student's music teacher by April 30, 2017. The form will be emailed to you at the beginning of April and can also be downloaded here.
  • The camp payment will be mailed directly to the camp your child has chosen. (*Bonus! If your familiy volunteers for 6 Saturday nights, you will receive an additional $100 towards camp.)
Here are some of the camps South Portland students have attended in the past:

Saturday night bingo at the John Roberts Road's Bingo Hall is the Music Boosters longest and most successful fundraiser. The Bingo Hall has been supporting music in South Portland for over 30 years! Even if your child is not interested in a music camp, please consider volunteering at Bingo to help the Music Program. All the money raised directly benefits South Portland Music students!
